As I enter my 40th year, a realization has started to enter that I’m not gaining years but losing them. There is no wisdom being accrued, but only intellect being lost. Only precious little breaths are left to hope to get even the minutest understanding of the mysteries of The Universe. And yet, any number of breaths seems not to be enough – for its unimaginable, unfathomable, incomprehensible, beyond intellect, and only understood through the heart.
I long to reach a state, hopefully in this lifetime, where there could be the tiniest of communion in a waking state. Such is this one’s prayer to his Father, who resides in Sachkhand.
I am sharing another one of my favorite compositions by Shivpreet Singh of the Shabad Gurbani of Guru Arjan Dev Ji. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
I really liked the Sarangi with it.
